Strong individual academic achievement is at the heart of Kilgraston but our education goes beyond the classroom. We offer our pupils an extensive extra-curricular programme. We pride ourselves on our pastoral care, having dedicated and talented staff who know pupils as individuals.
Rolling hills, unspoilt open moor, and all just 45 minutes from Edinburgh, Kilgraston is proud to offer children a stunning and safe Scottish countryside campus in which to learn and grow. Situated in 54 acres of the best Scottish parkland, we follow the Scottish Examination system of National Fives, Highers and Advanced Highers.
Our Junior School offers education for boys and girls from five to twelve. Our Senior School and Sixth Form is girls only. Our leavers go on to study at some of the best universities in the world with over half of our 2023 pupils obtaining Grade A at Higher.
We offer first-class facilities including our very own, on-site equestrian centre – the only school in Scotland. We have a stunning 25 metre indoor swimming pool, a full-sized hockey pitch, eight tennis courts, a gym and a rock-climbing wall.
