On Saturday the Under 14 Wymondham College mixed touch rugby team were invited to Twickenham. This followed their success in winning the England Touch 2 Twickenham National competition last year.
Their prize was to play touch rugby in front of the crowd in the curtain raising match before the International England vs South Africa Rugby game at the Allianz stadium.
The team played the Hornsey School from Yorkshire to demonstrate their touch rugby skills as spectators arrived at the stadium.
Ahead of the England match the team carried the huge England banner onto the pitch to enjoy the National anthem in front of a crowd of over 80,000. To end the day they watched the exciting international match – A memorable day for all involved!
Thanks to Mr Jones and Mr Grove who coach the team.
